CEREAL! YESH! CEREAL! but it was less than a cup- thus the YOU SHRUNK?!
no deluge in the bowl. The plum was awesome tho!
Run:
2X10 minutes, 2 minute recovery
1.17 mile, 1.19 mile, average 8:39/mile.
Lifts:
went light today, heavy tomorrow (also i met this really sweet frosh at UCLA who was really grateful to me showing her around) and i saw someone from my church we gossip about, and I RAN into D (rather, D ran into me kept bumping me and all the meatheads are like?! wtf?)
6X6 45# deadlifts
5X10 glute ham situps
4X dips 34# assisted
Some crunches, some pushups. very light. my abs are a bit sore. yay!
Then I got a ride from D, so kind =D and then went home to eat this
Yogut, Peach, kabocha, milk. flax and cinnamon to cover
Then to Ranch 99 to pick up tofu! and Costco for eggs, meds, and strawberries!
Home (HUNGRY!)
BEAN BURRITO! (yeah, i missed it for one day, and i needed something quick) and cauliflower and kabocha. Yum yum.
Gaseous deliciousness.
Then, sit in Ralphs and watch mom get flu shot. Sit in traffic to Pick up sister. Sit in traffic to go home. Get home and sort through 300+ google reads.....and watch Chef Vs CIty! =D

and milk. it was good hearty food! =D
I look forward to making tofu stirfry burritos!

PRE RUN WORKOUT SNACK:
CASHEW COOKIE LARABAR and plum
OMG! I thought i HATED this flavor but it's nothing short of awesome. Think of like an amazingly tasty shortbread cookie. It's got this buttery taste, but not like REAL buttery, just like a nice light, slightly nutty flavor that makes you ponder..HMMM what is that? and each bite melts on the tongue. The nut bits are tiny, but still you can chew them...as you ponder the deliciousness of the bar. The aroma of the warmed up bar wafts up like a warm cookie, you don't pick it up, too fearful it will break. So each tasty bite is eaten carefully with a fork, and a fingertip picks up the dropped nuts. Oh wow. It was like nutty, kinda banana-y and delicious. Totally awesome.
Then SCHOOL! TO RUN! and LIFT!
run:
18 times of 1 minute on 20 seconds off. Total distance traveled 2.37 miles. If you average all my splits: 7:38/mile.
wow. it got hard at the end. WHOOO EEEEEE
Then lifting:
3X15 pushups
5X 10 crunches, 10 double crunch, 10 reverse crunch
5X10 glute ham situps
4X7 each side side plank with row 17.5
5X10 ball pike
5X5 push press

One of those days...
Wow. Today was ONE of those days
Treadmill walk, bike .
Study for test.
Eat 1.5? Cereal drink and run:
20 times of 10 second on, 5 seconds off. I am NOT a sprinter. Sigh..
Back to study for test and call sis to wake her up.
Then I prepared some food just in case I got hungry during or before the test:
4 egg whites. =D
Then I went to Valley HOURS before the test, and studied....COSMO and learned about guy body language. Too bad I wasn't getting tested on that. My stomach started growling, so then i went to the cafeteria and ate my egg whites. All while watching the clock. Then took the test. EW.
I hate testing.
Then! I went home to make this! I was hungry! Finally!
Yogurty mess of 1/2 cup yogurt, cinnamon, tiny plum, and kabocha. Half a celery stick.
Then I cleaned! and had a well deserved break from studying MCAT or AT.
And I read blogs. FUN TIMES =D
Next thing you know it, it's time for another meal.
I KNOW I KNOW it's the same, but i promise this is the last. I"m trying to eat up little bits and bobs in the fridge since I know i won't have to cook as much since my mom will be back tomorrow and cooking up a storm i bet.
So THBB. and Cabbage. Spicy goodness. Fueled an intense cleaning vacuuming session.....and a power nap of 2 hours. LOL.
Woke up, read more blogs, watched Barefoot Contessa, continued the cleaning rampage, and then made dinner:

Egg white (3) scramble that was supposed to be an omelette with napa and some cabbage, and kabocha. and milk. SOME HOW this was extra filling. I"m like SOO full! Could be because I am chewing gum right now. Oh well. Next time, I better not eat so fast! =/ I HATE feeling too full reminds me of the ED days. =(
Today was a day of rest, tomorrow is heavy lifting FOR THE FIRST TIME MY ABS ARE KINDA SORE!

Has anyone else experimented in the kitchen? I know i keep eating bean burritos, but when i dont want to eat (ED thoughts) i try to make things I would like. Sorry for the lack of excitement about my meals. I'm kinda stressing.

Can't go wrong with a Classic Combo
Look familiar? Yes, this pre treadmill snack was OATMEAL! 1/3 cup. =D oh and some dried cranberries. Meh, still NOT lovin dried fruit. I know, sacrilege.
After that hike uphill, then i biked, and then i rested. Studied (test tomorrow)
and then ate this!
Yup, that old skool combo known as
PB AND J! (but in the form of an all too delicious LARABAR!!!!!)
I guess it's OKAY. I was wishing it wasn't finished soooo much..but i think i'll stick to the coconut and ginger snap one and cocoa mole...the cherries were very big in this one and this bar was UBER crumbly. Peanuts everywhere!
Plum on the side. I ate the plum first. OF COURSE.
Then since i wasn't running, i called my sister to make sure she was awake (i'm the early bird, getting up at 4 am or earlier, everyone in my family relies on me to give wake the f up calls =D are any of you like that too? personal alarm clocks?)
Hoofed it to the gym where I ran into D and R. (r is the guy that calls me Bones. )
I did this:
80 pushups (first i banged out 20 in like 30 seconds? then did as many as i could fast and properly in sets)
CF workout: Deadlifts 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1
so mine went like this: 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 75, 75. SIGH. can't get any higher. OH well i'll get there.
then after D high fived me / said WAKE UP coz i looked tired (folks, i only got 3 hours last night)
6 negative pullups
3X5 dips 34 lbs assisted
4X7 side plank with 17.5 row via cable
5X5 25#push press
3 circuits of 10 crunches, 10 double crunch, 10 reverse crunch
4X4 35# squat =D
fin.
then i went home. chatted with my sister until i got uber hungry.
made this:
yogurt! in a container! with a peach and kabocha on the side. milk to drink. cinnamonnnnn
Then time to volunteer/lab at Valley College's AT room.
12-2. Fun times. Ran to Jon's to pick up a bunch of peaches. Stomach growling (LOOK MY APPETITE IS BACK!)
Quickly whipped up a quickie:
THBB (trayn harder bean burrito) and napa. YUM MO.
STUDY DUDDYYYY for the test. I screwed.
Then DINNER!
3 egg whites, napa, and KABOCHAAAAAAAAAAA. =D
I make extra at dinner to have for breakfast! =D
Now it's time to crank it down, look at blogs and study at the same time and hit up the tube. pray i get enough sleep and my hip flexor isn't soo aggravated and i can run tomorrow! =D

1/4 cup OATMEAL! =D I also woke up STARVING! Random....so i had some fiber one bar and some milk.
Walk a big hill
Bike with Pride and Prejudice and Time magazine
Then Pre run snack:
Plum and Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond Kashi bar. This thing was awesome!
Bad run tho: left hip flexor CRAZY TIGHT AND HURTY
ON tap:
10X200 m recovery how long it took (i was in a hurry so i just waited a bit and ran. bad idea)
Average pace 7:55/mile SIGHHHHH
Rest from lifting today. Tomorrow is rest running and gym lifting.
Then I went to school to LEARN!
GOT REALLY HUNGRY and had some bites of celery i brought with me.
Went to Ralphs afterwards for some moo juice and came home to eat
YOGURT CONTAINER BREAKFAST! Last of oikos + 1/4 cup regular NFYogurt, and kabocha and Peach and water. Yum.
Rested, studied REALLY HARD NO DISTRACTIONS watched barefoot contessa , and then made this:
I don't even want to talk about this. Nasty poached chicken breast, milk, and napa cabbage. Horrible. Bland. Not delicious. I ate because i was hungry and junked a little bit of the rest.
I BLAME this for ruining the rest of the day ( I feel really sick right now...nauseous)
I couldn't study, so i napped and then woke up even more nauseous. Waited til 6 to start making food, because I try to eat every couple hours and made this:
Looks good right? The other poached chicken breast in Trayn Harder Style Sauce of curry and cumin. It worked! with napa and milk. Okay I TRIED to eat this...TRIED and only got through half before almost throwing up. WHAT THE F IS WRONG WITH ME?!
I have no idea.
you might be seeing a lot of low key meals like egg whites or yogurt...or larabars. Something for my stomach to eat. =(
My sister says it's because i'm not sleeping well...it could be that..or like i'm stressed. i dunno guys, i'm like kinda worried about myself. I find myself worrying about calories and fat and body fat. =(
SIGH. ED DONT COME BACK

I hate mondays.

RIP PB
Treadmill climb preceded by fiber one bar leftover and cereal drink sips.
Then i just walked up a big big hill. no sprinting, testing my hypothesis.
Bike to follow. =D
Then i studied, and then ate this to FUEL UP!
PB AND J LARABAR! and pb on a plum. =D
Thoughts on the PB and J larabar. The J part of the PB and J was very prominent, and okay, but the peanut butter taste was not as apparent. I guess i was waiting for like PEANUTTTT like in peanut butter. But it wasn't BAD. I just like CCP larabar better. =)
Then drove to school to do this:
35 minute TT 4.05 miles, 8:39/mile. DAMN! That was hard.
I was a hot-hot-hot-hot-hot-hot mess (to quote cobra starship. i love this song HOT MESS) coz i was.
Walked back to campus all sweaty, and then did this:

4X4 30# squat (not bad! I could up it)
5X5 25 # push press
3X10 inverted row
3X10 pushups, reverse crunch
6X6 12.5 side plank with row
3X10 back extensions (HI ALLIE! (she popped up))
supine tricep side extension 12, 10, 8, 6, 12 with 5 lb dumbbell
Then it was weird, i was really really sick after the run (makes sense, i was running faster than i usually do crazy!) and then i got REALLY hungry. Made this:
PB PEACH JAR! (yum yum) celery bits, and rest of peach and kabocha and GREEK YOGURT!
It was delicious.
Then I worked at MCAT and AT and watched some tv.
Lunch:
Tofu sheets, 3 egg whites, plum and celery. I was goddamn hungry (from the running!?) so i devoured this. Then went back to read...then nappy.
Woke up, read some more, surfed the web.........
and then ate:
Heaven. Yes, a repeat, but when it's this good, you eat it again and again and again.
But Tra does not live by Bean burrito alone: she has to have it with
A little bit of napa cabbage (made it a little salty, junked it) and Kabocha.
A delicious dinner.
Now it's LOVE SONGSSSSSSSS and AT training stuff......and maybe watching GLEE. =D

Dates, Almonds, Dried Shredded coconut = BLISS
Dates + Almonds + Dried Shredded Coconut + HEAT => FOOD ORGASM
OMG. I love love the COCONUT CREAM PIE LARABAR. I'm sorry I didn't eat you for sooo long.
Treadmill was preceded by some cereal drink, smattering of pb, and a bite of Fiber one bar. I then burned SERIOUS rubber on that treadmill with a whole bunch of light 30 second jogs at 7.5, 7.4 (can you believe that when i did this "intensity training 30 second on 90 off" 7.0 was way too fast? now i was like oooh too easy, this is just some warm up 30 seconders.
Then i did a couple at 9.4, 9.5 (better) and then found the best pace at 10.4. TOO BAD MY TREADMILL TAKES FOREVER TO REACH THAT LOL. but it was good. TOo bad my warmup running excitement totally killed my legs during the real run. More on that later.
Pre Workout Snackeroo:
Nectar of the Gods. Just kidding: A coconut cream pie larabar and a mealy gala apple. =D And some delicious pb. I"M ALMOST TO THE BOTTOM! YIKES!
Then to SCHOOL! TO RUN! and LIFT (yes, i KNOW i am using !!! a lot. GET OVER IT! =D)

3X5 minute maximal effort, 3 minute recovery
First wasn't so good, second was good, third, meh. I really need to NOT run hard sprints before sprinting. Well we all learn.
After sweating buckets and walking back to the gym, I then was soo pooped that i just did this:

4X4 assisted dips at level 7 (34 # assisted)
50 Situps in sets of 10 supersetted with 10 crunches

Then i chatted with Allie and Seth, and then went home (isn't it weird, i felt soo sick (probably too much pb pre run) but then HUNGER HIT LIKE A ROCK!)

Then hoofed to the mall BUT I FORGOT the shirt i was to exchange.....but i bought my sister two shirts for her to choose from. I took pictures. HAHH. She was very grateful. I"M AN AWESOME LIL SIS RIGHT!?

Then home to eat this:
That delicious chicken with half covered in oats, and then celery, apple, and green beans. YUM. Primal and DELICIOUS. I think...the chicken NEEDED SOME KETCHUP. Must try again with more mustard and more ketchup. =D
then I did the damn thing (i.e. work.) emailed a certain someone when we should have been studying...and then slept from 4-5:45. Did some more stuff, and then stood torn for dinner, which then was OBVIOUS because i wanted this:

Nom nom. Sophia of Burp and Slurp kindly reminded me that Kabocha is NOT a grain, and while i ate a ton, i need some whole grains in my life too! Primal/Paleo is okay with SOME light amounts of grains, and dude, it was AWESOME in a burrito. TOTAL hand food. =D

Now i'm just resting watching DIRTY JOBS WHO LOVES MIKE ROWE?! HE IS THE BEST!
and also, D was like, you seemed off this week, and offered a shoulder to lean on. it was nice. I almost cried. I've been under a lot of stress, and not that happy this week. =( so hopefully it'll all be better. tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow/ creeps in this petty pace from day to day,/To the last syllable of recorded time...

HAPPY SATURDAY ALL! It's a brand new day tomorrow and I know it's gonna be better.
OMG. I love love the COCONUT CREAM PIE LARABAR. I'm sorry I didn't eat you for sooo long.
Treadmill was preceded by some cereal drink, smattering of pb, and a bite of Fiber one bar. I then burned SERIOUS rubber on that treadmill with a whole bunch of light 30 second jogs at 7.5, 7.4 (can you believe that when i did this "intensity training 30 second on 90 off" 7.0 was way too fast? now i was like oooh too easy, this is just some warm up 30 seconders.
Then i did a couple at 9.4, 9.5 (better) and then found the best pace at 10.4. TOO BAD MY TREADMILL TAKES FOREVER TO REACH THAT LOL. but it was good. TOo bad my warmup running excitement totally killed my legs during the real run. More on that later.
Pre Workout Snackeroo:
Nectar of the Gods. Just kidding: A coconut cream pie larabar and a mealy gala apple. =D And some delicious pb. I"M ALMOST TO THE BOTTOM! YIKES!
Then to SCHOOL! TO RUN! and LIFT (yes, i KNOW i am using !!! a lot. GET OVER IT! =D)
RUN:
3X5 minute maximal effort, 3 minute recovery
First wasn't so good, second was good, third, meh. I really need to NOT run hard sprints before sprinting. Well we all learn.
After sweating buckets and walking back to the gym, I then was soo pooped that i just did this:
warmup deadlifts 6? with 45#
5X 3 55# deadlifts
4X4 assisted dips at level 7 (34 # assisted)
50 Situps in sets of 10 supersetted with 10 crunches
30 pushups
6X6 30# skull crushers
Then i chatted with Allie and Seth, and then went home (isn't it weird, i felt soo sick (probably too much pb pre run) but then HUNGER HIT LIKE A ROCK!)
and fixed this:
